This is my Sisters Set, I made this set for a bunch of pages I made for my two girls. I have always been a fan of pink and green, so this was really fun kit!

1. I am an absolute choco-holic. Seriously, I have issues. . ..

2. I just asked my husband what I should say and he said “great looking husband.” Ummm, thanks dear.

3. I secretly like listening to Dolly Parton.

4. I love sarcasm too! but not everyone gets that…

5. I like to have projects going all the time, either on the computer or on my house or yard.

6. I’m an Ann Taylor Loft addict, in fact I applied for a job there. Although it would be more like volunteering since my whole paycheck would go to them!

7. I just started yoga and I love it! First exercise I ever really enjoyed!

Well, school is almost over here and I’m trying to steel myself for summer vacation. I should be taking this week to take a breath and relax before all my children descend on me, but instead its jam packed! I have had some time to scrap though, now that I’m on the CT for www.digitalcandy.ca (yay!) I have to stay on top of it. I love having that incentive. These are done with Gummy Grins by Sarah Meyer at Digitalcandy (link on side bar). I sure had a hard time deciding which elements to use, they were all SO cute and SO many of them. I finally decided on these, hope its not too busy. This is my daughter Meg (blondie) and her BFF, Grace.

I’m not sure how many of you have discovered “digitalcandy” but its a fairly new digi scrapping site and store. I really like it and I’m there quite a bit. Well with growing pains and all, they had some technical difficulties that caused them to lose all the people that had already registered! And like me, they really make it worth your while to register. For all those who register there will be a FREE “mega kit and more”!! Wow, I’m looking at an amazing sunset right now. I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world! I may be a bit biased though :).

Well, I’ve been doing more experimenting. I just had to figure out how to make those cool beads I’ve seen lately and I wanted them to have some bling. It took me a while to get it figured out, but I think I’m almost there. I’m not really happy with the flower aspect of these elements though, I spent so much time playing with stitching and jewels that the shapes are a bit, well, not-so-original. And I wanted to create a brooch look, but my flowers are just a bit fat, I’ll have to try a “skinnier” shape next time. But here you go, do what you want with them and any suggestions,etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Its Friday!! Yay! (Okay it WAS friday and I got a bit sidetracked, lol. But better late than never right?) AND its absolutely beatiful weather, which I am loving. We have had waaaay too much rain this spring. But it also means I really really need to get working on my yard. Any other avid gardeners out there? I love it.

I’m spending lots of time on the computer playing with some new set ideas and adding to the Red Hot Hearts (I decided to take Debbie’s suggestiong, thanks so much!) as well as the Sunny Daze kit. In fact if you are not just tired to death of the Sunny Daze stuff, I have a few more papers and some elements that I will post in a couple of days. I’ve been busy experimenting so I have about 50 pages for this set, figured I might as well share few more!

Hey all, well, I seem to be glued to my computer lately. I’ve been working on a new header and footer, and well, all new site look. I would love to know what you think. My wonderful hubby actually made the logo.

I really really should be working out in the yard, but dang, I just can’t kick this annoying cough. Okay, I’m done complaining.

So has everyone watched the Flight of the Conchords? They are HILARIOUS!! Watch some of it here!

WOW!! I just went to Scrapbook-bytes and oh my goodness! They have updated the site and it looks AMAZING!! Go check it out!

I have been working on a a new set, I think I’m going to call it Red Hearts or Red Hots or . . . . something like that? I’m really into texture, and this one does have a lot. The hard part is getting texture without looking blurry. kwim? Here is a preview of those. . . if you have a good idea for a name, feel free to make a suggestion.

And again, as you know, I’m just starting with this designing elements for other people stuff, so feedback is SO appreciated! In fact it’s so appreciated, I’m going to try bribery! Wow! You all made me feel so good about my first venture into the blog world, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that.

Unfortunately for me I’ve been sick this last week, but fortunately for you, I’ve been sick this last week! Because I have ignored my house and yard, sat on my bottom, and worked on fun pages and elements!

I thought I’d share a little something about myself each time, not sure if anyone will be interested in anything that isn’t digital scrapping. . . but what the heck. My middle children are twins (the M&Ms); Mitch and Meg. Some of you who frequent the digital scrapping community may have already seen some pics of them but here are a few for those who haven’t. Meg loves loves loves the camera and getting her picture taken. On this particular day, they just decided that dad hadn’t had a proper photo shoot with them for a while, so he got out the camera and captured these.

I have taken to heart all suggestions, and I will tell you that I am working on an alphabet for the Sunny Daze Collection and I’m also working on many new elements as well. I would love to know what elements you use the most and love to find in kits. So drop a line, give me your thoughts, and stay tuned. . . . .

For a long time I’ve wanted to be a digital designer. I LOVE design, I LOVE scrapbooking and I love computers; it just seems like the perfect fit! So, here it is. My first step to that goal.

I hope to have lots of frequent visitors and use you all as my guinea pigs and mentors. Your input on my designs would be so helpful!

These are snaps of my two boys, Ben is on the top, and Mitch is on the bottom.

These are pictures of my youngest daughter, Clara, and her cousin, Ellie.
They were waiting, oh-so-patiently for some birthday cake at Ellie’s birthday.
